Let Us Help You Mitigate Heat Loss
Are you looking for advice that could save you money on heating and cooling costs without just adjusting the thermostat?
Book a home energy audit from the energy efficiency experts at Trinity Energy Group. A home energy audit will help you take full advantage of your renovation budget while minimizing your energy costs.
Your Home Energy Assessment is Nova Scotia’s first step to the Greener Homes Grant available from the Federal Government!

Our advisors are registered with Natural Resources Canada to perform home energy evaluations using the nationally recognized EnerGuide Rating System. Our advisor will go through your home and examine your insulation levels, look at your mechanical systems and conduct a blower door test to identify air leakage rates and draft points.
Following your in-home energy assessment, the advisor builds your house inside of Natural Resources Canada’s own energy simulation software.
By doing so, we can identify heat loss points and overall air leakage numbers. The advisor uses this model to simulate practical energy saving upgrades and will provide you with a report to identify these areas.
You can then plan out your renovations, with confidence knowing which areas will make a difference in your long-term energy savings. You will also receive an EnerGuide label for your home from Natural Resources Canada.
Trinity Energy Group is partnered with Efficiency Nova Scotia, who covers part of the cost of an assessment.
Along with learning where you can save money, rebates are available up to $5,000 on completed upgrades. You can also receive financing (on approved credit) from $2,500 to $25,000 for up to five years. This will help complete your home renovation in a cost-effective manner and reduce your upfront costs.
Within 12 months, contact us for a follow-up assessment at no additional cost. We will submit the file on your behalf for any eligible rebates on qualifying upgrades and provide you with an updated EnerGuide label.
