The Nines At Brunello
The Nines at Brunello, overlooking the beautiful 9th Hole of The Links at Brunello, is a planned (Fall 2020) 134-suite multi-residential development located in Timberlea, Nova Scotia. NSCC Centre of Geographic Sciences
COGS is home to Canada’s largest geomatics-focused learning environment where students and industry professionals are trained to launch and build mapping and information technology solutions. The construction of a 40-bed residence at COGS is a priority to supplement the area’s residential rental options. The new 27,000 square-foot space will include a business research centre.
Memorial University Core Science Facility
The Core Science Facility, scheduled for completion in 2021, will provide modern research and laboratory teaching spaces primarily for the Faculty of Science and the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. Total gross floor area is 480,000 square feet; 156,000 square feet for research labs and 98,000 square feet for teaching labs. A further 148,000 square feet of shell space is available for research partnerships with private industry and 78,000 square feet for other teaching and support spaces, including faculty and student collaboration space.
JL Illsley High School
This is the first school in Nova Scotia to be constructed using a collaborative design-build process. The end goal is to design and build a new school to replace the aging JL Ilsley High School with a facility that will better serve the needs of the community. With this approach, the owner, key stakeholders, end-users such as the high school principal, the design team, and the constructor are working together in a collaborative environment to achieve a feasible design that best satisfies the needs of all parties.
Queen’s Marque
The commercial space at Queen’s Marque is designed to be one of the most progressive office buildings in the country and will have a distinct Atlantic Canadian character. With the sea almost touching the expansive windows, it facilitates a balance between productivity and creativity, much like the culture of Nova Scotia. Queen’s Marque will feature Atlantic Canada’s first ultra-luxury boutique hotel. Guest suites will be finely appointed with Nova Scotian decor.
