We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to support and promote a strong safety culture across our residential and energy services operations. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, supporting field teams, and implementing programs that reduce risk and enhance workplace safety. This role will require travel to office sites as required.

Responsibilities
Health & Safety Program Management:
– Execute maintain health and safety policies and procedures
– Ensure compliance with all applicable occupational health and safety regulations
– Conduct regular site inspections, hazard assessments, and risk evaluations
– Maintain safety documentation, records, and reporting systems
Training & Safety Culture:
– Execute safety training, orientations, and toolbox talks
– Promote a proactive safety culture across field and office teams
– Support supervisors and employees in safe work practices and procedures
– Assist with development of safety manuals and training materials
Incident Management & Investigation:
– Lead or assist in incident and near-miss investigations
– Identify root causes and recommend corrective and preventative actions
– Track and report on incidents, trends, and safety performance metrics
– Ensure proper documentation and regulatory reporting requirements are met
Field Support & Compliance:
– Provide on-site safety support as needed at various office locations
– Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
– Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with safety standards
– Stay current with changes in safety legislation and industry best practices
Job Requirements
– 2–5 years of experience in a safety-related role, preferably in construction, residential services, or energy sectors
– Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices
– Excellent communication and training skills
– Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
– Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required
– Ability to work across multiples offices advocating for safety awareness
