Trinity Energy Group is growing, and we’re looking for Firestopping Labourer to join our dedicated team! If you have experience with fire-rated assemblies, are safety-conscious, and enjoy working in a fast-paced construction environment – we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Install firestop systems in walls, floors, and ceilings according to project specifications
- Apply a variety of firestop materials, including caulks, sealants, wraps, and boards
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings related to fireproofing
- Ensure work is compliant with building codes and manufacturer standards
- Communicate effectively and respectfully with site supervisors and other trades
- Maintain job site cleanliness and follow all safety protocols
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in firestopping or a similar construction trade (asset, but willing to train the right candidate)
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and in confined spaces
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Ability to travel within Atlantic provinces as needed, Monday to Friday (hotel and per diem provided for overnight stays)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, data, drawings, and project specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to fireproofing applications.
- Valid driver’s license, clean abstract, and reliable transportation to job sites. Class 1 Drivers License, air brakes or additional endorsements preferred.
- Must be able to meet physical demands (i.e. lifting/holding 55lbs comfortably, standing for long periods).
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
